Welcome to Live Well Weld County

LiveWell Weld County is a grant-funded collaboration with the non-profit LiveWell Colorado. This website is intended to be a reliable site for information to help you make better choices for a healthier lifestyle.

The federal grant, Steps to a Healthier Weld County, was the precursor of LiveWell Weld County. As a five year comprehensive project, Steps focused on eating better, moving more and ceasing tobacco using evidence-based models. Many community partners were instrumental in the successes that engaged Weld County citizens in healthy eating and active living initiatives.

Eating better and moving more are LiveWell strategies that build on the success of Steps to address the obesity and physical inactivity epidemics in Colorado. Four environments (schools, worksites, health care providers and community) will continue to be targeted for change so that the healthiest choice can become the easiest choice in Weld County.

Together, we will engage the power of all of us to foster healthy people and places in Colorado. (LiveWell Colorado)

The LiveWell grant is being administered at the Weld County Public Health Department 1555 North. 17th Ave Greeley, CO 80631
